This weekend retreat is designed to bless full-time expatriate evangelical missionaries who are native English-speakers. It is a time to “clock-out” of daily ministry and have the opportunity to be ministered to, network with others, and have a time of corporate worship and biblical teaching in English while at a relaxing facility.
Saturday Keynote Speaker
John Mark Robeck
Assistant Professor of Theology, Ethics, and Culture and Chair of the Division of Theology at Vanguard University
John Mark holds a B.A. in Cross Cultural and Urban Studies, a Master of Divinity, and a Ph.D. in Theology, Ethics, and Culture. John Mark is an ordained minister within the Assemblies of God, having served in ministry for over 20 years, both at the local church in various capacities, and also teaching in the United States, Central America, and Eastern Europe. For three years John Mark and his family served as missionaries in El Salvador. His role was as the Academic Director of the Center for Community Transformation, a branch of ENLACE, a faith-based NGO serving the churches of rural El Salvador. His recent book explores the way in which the Pentecostal church in El Salvador engages community in transformative ways. He currently enjoys training students for ministry in the local and global context.

KEN BRUMLEY
DIRECTOR - GRACEWORKS COUNSELING
Ken Brumley is the Pastor of GraceWorks Counseling Ministry. A veteran staff member, Ken started his GABC career as the Singles Minister, and after 15 years of serving, elected to focus on pre- and post-marital counseling by launching the GraceWorks Counseling Ministry. Ken holds a B.A. in Music/Voice from East Texas Baptist University and an M.E. with a focus on Marriage & Family Counseling from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Ken enjoys hunting, fly fishing, four-wheeling in Colorado and grandparenting. He serves on the board of Christian Hunters and Anglers Association, an evangelistic outreach ministry to dads and sons/dads and daughters. Ken and his wife, Judy, have two children and five grandchildren
Location
The conference will once again be held at the beautiful Pacific Paradise Hotel in Costa Del Sol. Conference registration includes meals, rooms and all adult and children programs.

We are excited to have Ken Brumley returning this year with his team of counselors for the sole purpose of ministering to you! Ken has been ministering to missionaries in Central America for over 15 years and has a unique understanding of the trials and issues they face.
Ken Brumley has served as Marriage & Family Minister at Green Acres Baptist for over 25 years. He has provided pastoral marriage and family counseling since 1985. Ken has a Master’s Degree from Southwestern Theological Seminary with focus on Education and Marriage and Family Counseling and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors.
